Rachel M. Ostreich
BIOGRAPHY
Rachel M. Ostreich graduated from the State University of New York Buffalo in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and minor in Legal Studies. Ms. Ostreich graduated from Touro Law School in 2018 where she geared her studies towards Estate Planning, Elder Law and Criminal Law. She was selected to extern with the Honorable Leonard Wexler in the United States District Court for the Eastern District.
Upon graduating from law school Ms. Ostreich worked as a public defender for the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society, providing legal counsel to the indigent community of Suffolk County with a myriad of charges ranging from low-level violations to intensive felonies. In 2021, Ms. Ostreich left public defense for the private sector joining a Criminal, Family and Matrimonial Firm. Since 2021 Ms. Ostreich has honed her skills towards Family, Matrimonial, Criminal Law and Estate Planning. Ms. Ostreich has conducted a multitude of hearings and trials with several criminal trials resulting in not-guilty verdicts. Ms. Ostreich has represented clients all over the State of New York, from Riverhead to Buffalo and most all counties in between.
In 2024 Ms. Ostreich joined Capetola & Divins, P.C. where she plans to continue focusing her practice on Family, Matrimonial, Criminal Law and Estate Planning.
